We’ve bagged ourselves a shiny new trophy for winning the best small stand at this year’s BIBA.

This year, BIBA invited us to their annual conference to talk about the corporate use of social media, more specifically the potential business opportunities for social media and how brokers of all shapes and sizes can get involved.

What better way, we thought, to introduce the topic than to set up a social media experiment live from our stand. Our Rant and Rave pod (hand built from scratch – thanks Dave) invited BIBA attendees to step inside the pod and either Rant or Rave about any given subject be it the election results, volcanic ash, the event itself or even their boss- views were totally anonymous and synced up to a dedicated Twitter feed. It was an experiment and a bit of fun but interestingly provided a real-time barometer of the sentiment at the conference at any given point.

It went down a storm and we’re really pleased to have walked away with the award.
