Burger King advocates have social media appetite

moz-screenshot-3 Tapping into the limitless energy of online advocates, the King Tasty campaign to promote Burger King’s 3-Cheese Angus Burger championed interaction between complete strangers online, united by a single cause – winning a T-shirt.

Our Facebook application provided the perfect forum to spread the word and boost Users’ video views of the King Tasty ad, designed by our friends at CP+B. Fifty video views earned them a free King Tasty T-shirt. The nation got creative designing their own T-shirt then choosing to either buy it or earn it by spreading the word. More than 600 unique links were posted onto the fan page inside the first 2 weeks of the campaign and an army of fans took part in the weekly competitions to win themselves a T-Shirt by voting on their favourite designs, while thousands more joined forces via the Facebook application for their chance exchange online engagement for real-world rewards.

While the King Tasty campaign has drawn to a close, the fan page lives on as enthusiasts continue to upload pics of themselves sporting their coveted King Tasty T-shirts.
